"I think if everything goes the way it's going at the moment and the way it's planned, I think he [Havertz] will have a chance to play a few games in the season," Arteta told reporters on Friday.
Riccardo Calafiori and Jorginho are also not expected to feature against the Cherries in North London with their respective injuries.
Arteta also hopes to have Jorginho available in the final weeks of the season after admitting the midfielder's recovery became "complicated".
"It's got a bit more complicated than expected. Thankfully, he's [Jorginho] fine, he's feeling good, he's recovering well, but it was a bit more than what we wanted."
Arteta added: "Hopefully, if everything goes well in the next week or so, I think he will [play for Arsenal again]."
