has reportedly made history for by becoming the highest paid star to ever sign up to the project - with reports claiming her fee has eclipsed even that of who was paid £1.5 million to star on the show in 2023. Coleen - who is married to football legend 38, and shares four sons with him - looked casual as she was snapped filling up her car with fuel following her casting announcement.

The WAG was out and about in Cheshire on Sunday - wearing a comfortable looking ensemble. She had a simple zip up jumper and matching black jogging bottoms as she went to a petrol station while driving her jeep. She sported a pair of shoes that looked much like slippers as she ran her errands.

With an appearance like a football manager relaxing off the pitch during training season, Coleen added a hint of glamour to her casual appearance with some expert make-up. Her glossy hair was pulled back into a pony, and her make-up was natural and bright - with an added smoky eye.

A nearby fellow shopper revealed that the star spent £72 filling up her vehicle - loose change considering her family is worth a reported £170 million. Fans were stunned on Saturday when news broke that Coleen had been uncovered as the first star to be signed to the 2024 season of I'm A Celeb. She is expected to jet Down Under next month to take part in the long-running reality show where she will eat revolting food and camp under the stars.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: “I’m A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board. She’s always been a massive fan of the show and loves watching it with her boys. ITV are over the moon that the stars have aligned this year and she can fit it in. The series is set to be one of the best yet.

“Coleen has a huge fanbase and she won massive plaudits for her classy handling of the Wagatha Christie case. She’s excited to show fans a different side to her and prove she can survive without her creature comforts.” Coleen follows in the footsteps of her arch nemesis, , who featured on the show back in 2017 - and who was paid just £100,000 to feature in the cast. Becky, after being voted off the show, returned to the UK to warn fans that much of what they see on screens in faked for the show.

She claimed to Closer: "If you’re stood where the phone box is and look straight out, it’s all fake. I lost count of how many cameras there are. Above your head, the cameras are on zipwires, so they follow you everywhere! It is crazy, it’s like – you’re watched and listened to 24 hours a day."

However, she did confirm the conditions in terms of what people are allowed to eat are real and the stars don’t get extra food. She said: “You literally have to be on your last legs to get anything. That was the bit that I was really quite stupidly naïve about."
