Jeremy Clarkson makes huge Clarkson's Farm 5 announcement in explosive update

Jeremy Clarkson has set the internet abuzz with the exciting news that production is underway for season five of his hit series Clarkson's Farm.

Taking to on November 5, the celebrated former Top Gear host shared a video featuring fireworks that spelt out the number '5', announcing: "Clarkson's Farm season five is coming."

He cleverly captioned the post: "It's the 5th november... this just felt right. Clarkson's Farm S5 is officially in production." (sic)

With an audience of 8.7 million followers hanging onto his every word, fans could barely contain their excitement. Comments came flooding in, as one fan gushed: "Best news I've heard all year." (sic)

Another eagerly commented: "Sod the US election result. This announcement is the one!" And a delighted third wrote: "What a way to announce S5!" (sic)

Die-hard fans have to stay tuned until 2025 to watch Season Four on Amazon Prime, with Season Three - which premiered on May 3 - bringing intense heatwaves, cost spikes, and planning snags for Jeremy.

The forthcoming season will again feature firm favourites and , whose stints on the first series rocketed them into the limelight.

Jeremy's show, as well as his Shop, has drawn in crowds of locals and A-listers, including former England footballer . However, the TV presenter has faced opposition from his neighbours in the Cotswolds.

Residents living nearby have expressed concerns that the farm has become a "menace" and a "danger" due to the large number of tourists visiting, which they claim is causing road congestion. Clarkson has also faced resistance from locals over his plans to expand the farm shop's car park.

The presenter is currently recuperating from a recent health issue, which has prompted him to overhaul his lifestyle and abstain from alcohol.

Earlier this summer, Jeremy indicated that filming for Clarkson’s Farm season 4 would soon wrap, with rumours of a fifth season already swirling.

Speaking to presenter Cathy Newman at the time, "We’re likely to wrap up filming for season 4 in a couple of weeks. After editing and translating, it should be out around May."

He went on to tease: “Then, we’ll kick off filming for season 5 shortly after."

However, at that point, Amazon Prime had yet to officially confirm that Clarkson’s Farm would be returning for a fifth season.

The show has been one of Amazon Prime’s biggest hits, with fans and farmers alike praising the first three seasons for highlighting real farming issues.

Jeremy also found success alongside his former Top Gear co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond with Prime Video’s The Grand Tour, which wrapped up earlier this year.

In terms of what fans can expect from Clarkson’s Farm season 4, we will undoubtedly see Jeremy continue to deal with the trials of managing his 1,000-acre farm in Chadlington, where he has previously faced battles with the local council.

We also expect to see land agent Charlie Ireland and Kaleb’s dad make a comeback.

Another fresh feature may be Jeremy’s brand-new pub The Farmer’s Dog, which opened near Burford just a few months ago.
