The Princess of Wales had a practice run for her royal comeback as she attended an English National Ballet matinee yesterday.

Weeks after announcing she had completed her chemotherapy for cancer, Kate enjoyed a performance of Giselle at Sadler’s Wells, North London.

And the royal was clearly thrilled, thanking the cast and venue for the “wonderfully powerful, moving and inspiring” display.

Kate this week confirmed she intends to host her charity carol event at Westminster Abbey, Together At Christmas, as part of her return to royal life.
