Kim Woodburn has claimed she doesn't see a way back on to television for - nor does she think he deserves it.

The Queen of Clean, 82, revealed it is time to "give somebody else a chance" after saying the former host "put his foot in it".

Phillip made his comeback on the small screen last month with Channel 5's Cast Away. He had left his role following revelations he had had an affair with a younger male colleague. During his time on the desert island his actions had been "unwise, but not illegal".

However, Kim thinks he has had his day in front of the camera and said it's time for someone else to front prime time. Speaking to the , Kim was asked on her thoughts about the 62-year-old potentially having a platform in the industry again.

She said: "You know what he himself said, and I quote, 'I'm 62'. He said this when he was on the island. 'I've had 41 years of being on television and I want to get back'. Oh, come on. If you're 62 and you've had 41 years of a full career and all the top salaries earned, and he is at retirement age, don't you think he's done very well? Give somebody else a chance."

She continued: "I mean, he's put his foot in it. He's done things he shouldn't have done. He still managed 41 years of a high salary and a high profile and lives very comfortably, from what I gather. And I think with what he's done, I don't personally think he can ever get back on television."

However, with Phillip currently being linked to a spell in the jungle, Kim admitted it's something she could see happening. "I think he'll manage the jungle very well," she confessed. "I've seen him on the island, filthy, dirty. And he does manage very well, to be honest with you.

"He's not frightened to pick up soluble bugs, so, you know, if they'll take him. But Phillip might make more people watch, but his days as a presenter or running his own show are gone. He should be grateful he got 41 years. Oh, come on. It's not bad. You know how many people get that?"

Speaking of her own career, she revealed she would be to rekindle her How Clean Is Your House? days. When questioned if she would ponder any potential offer, she admitted: "Yes, I would. I would do that."

And despite admitting she isn't sure whether there is a place for her outspoken ways currently, she claims it's what the fans would love to see. "You know, I went to a charity do last night," she said." "There were 300 people there. And you know what they were saying? I love your bluntness. But it's not always appreciated, you know? I mean, I can understand that...'m just honest and blunt."
