It's been a tough race, a close competition, and has featured one of 'the most controversial campaigns in history' - but today it all comes to a head in the US Presidential Election as voters head to the polls.

Harris and Trump ended their campaigns with early morning speeches, with both discussing their very different ideas for the future of the United States of America. The polling data has flip-flopped numerous times through this presidential race: it's not been clear at any point if either Harris or Trump have taken the lead. It's been on a knife-edge for months, with the numbers barely moving either side of 50/50 since last month.

Of course, the swing states are the elephant in the room. This year's election has seven in particular that will separate the future Commander-in-Chief from the loser. Sweeping them means the election could have a clear winner long before the individual votes have been counted.

The 2024 presidential race has seen its fair share of drama. An assassination attempt earlier in the year saw Trump sustain an injury on his right ear. The former President was also convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records in May this year, becoming the first US President to have been convicted of a crime.

The Democratic campaign also had a bombshell turn of events when Harris stepped into the role of Democratic nominee after current President Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance. Harris showing up gave the campaign a much-needed jump-start and initially rocked the Trump campaign.

Even with Democrat supporters coming out in droves for early voting, it's still too close to call - so we want to know, who do you think will win the US Presidential Election? Take our poll above and have your say in the comments below!
