Are you also thinking of going on the Amarnath Yatra this year? If yes, then this news from BSNL is for you. The government telecom company has introduced a special SIM card for devotees going to Amarnath, which has been named Yatra SIM. The price of this special SIM is only 196, and you will get 15 days' validity with it.
The company claims that this SIM will offer better 4G connectivity on the entire route, so that all the devotees remain connected to a better network at all times, and they do not have to face any kind of network-related problem. Let's know about it in detail...
Better connectivity will be available on the route of the Yatra.
BSNL has designed this special SIM keeping in mind the difficult track of the Amarnath Yatra. It has been seen during the journey that many times the networks of other companies do not work, due to which the devotees are unable to connect with their families. To overcome this problem, BSNL has upgraded its network with indigenous 4G technology, so that now all BSNL users will get better connectivity on the route of the journey.
Where will you get this special SIM?
This special SIM card will be made available through camps set up by BSNL. These camps have been set up at many places, including Laxmanpur, Bhagwati Nagar, Chanderkot, Pahalgam, and Baltal. Travelers can go to these places and buy this SIM for just Rs 196 and stay connected for 15 days without interruption.
A plan was introduced earlier, too.
Let us tell you that BSNL had also introduced a similar tremendous plan in the year 2021, in which a similar facility was given to the pilgrims going to Amarnath for Rs 197. BSNL says that the newly released plan is completely different and comes with upgraded network technology and better coverage. This move of BSNL is not just a mobile plan but also an effort to keep the travelers connected with their families.
