Students with 'Essential Repeat' can also apply for PG Admission 2025 at Delhi University. But they must fulfill the minimum eligibility of 50% marks by 31 October 2025.
There is big news for the students preparing for admission to the Post Graduate (PG) program at Delhi University. In the application process going on for the academic session 2025-26, those students can also apply, whose result has "ER" i.e. Essential Repeat. However, these students will have to get at least 50 percent marks by 31 October 2025, only then their admission will be considered.
Recently, many important things related to PG admission were shared by DU through a webinar. In this webinar, the students were told that the last date for application in PG courses is 6 June 2025. In such a situation, students who have not filled the form yet, should complete the process as soon as possible.
Clear instructions regarding migration certificate too
A relief news for DU students is that if a Delhi University student is applying for PG course, then he will not have to submit migration certificate. Whereas it will be mandatory for students applying from other universities to submit migration certificate.
Keep these things in mind for application
Students have to use the same email ID with which they had registered for CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Admission in PG courses will be done by preparing a merit list on the basis of CUET score.
Seats will be allotted to the students as per the merit, which will have to be accepted within the stipulated time. If a student does not accept the seat, he will be out of the Common Seat Allocation System 2025. Once the seat is accepted, it can also be upgraded.
Be careful while filling the form
In the webinar, students were also warned that if any wrong information is found in any form, then that application can be canceled. Also, if a student wants to apply in more than one course, then a separate application fee will have to be paid for each course.
It is also important to fill the bank account information correctly, because if there is any kind of fee refund in future, it will be sent there.
Keep an eye on the website
DU PG Admission Dean Prof. Haneet Gandhi and Dr. Amit Pundir appealed to the students to keep visiting the official website of DU regularly for any updates.
