After the NEET UG 2025 result, the students who passed were waiting for counseling, which is now going to end. The Medical Counseling Committee, i.e., MCC, has released the complete schedule of counseling. There will be counseling in a total of three rounds for admission in MBBS in medical colleges across the country, but even after this, if the seats remain vacant, then those seats will be filled through stray vacancies. According to the schedule, the first round of counseling will start from July 21 and will run till July 30. From July 22, students can choose their preferred college and course and lock them after filling out the form.
The Medical Counseling Committee has instructed all medical colleges to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during counseling, so that there is no delay in the counseling process. MCC will release the results of the first round of counseling on July 31. In this, the students who get the seat will have to report to the respective college from August 1 to August 6 and complete the admission process. After this, the documents of the students will be checked on August 7 and 8. This year, admission will be done on a total of 1,18,190 MBBS seats in 780 medical colleges across the country.
