Train Cancelled News: Millions of people travel by train daily in the country. For the convenience of these passengers, the Railways run thousands of trains every day. However, due to technical or construction work, the Railways have to cancel or short-route some trains. This is the case again. Due to the renovation work at the Old Washing Pit at Gorakhpur Junction, the Railway Administration has extended the train block. Due to this, several trains have been temporarily cancelled or partially diverted.

So many trains will remain cancelled for the next few days.

According to Pankaj Kumar Singh, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Eastern Railway, four special trains, including the Gorakhpur-Delhi route, will remain cancelled for the scheduled time, while 14 trains will be short-terminated or short-originated. Engineering work is currently underway at Washing Pit Nos. 1 and 2. Therefore, this change has been made keeping in mind the safety and convenience of passengers.

List of Cancelled Trains

• Train No. 05057 Gorakhpur-Delhi Special Train will be cancelled until February 26.

• Train No. 05058 Delhi-Gorakhpur Special Train will be cancelled until February 27.

• Train No. 05053 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Special Train will be cancelled until February 27.

• Train No. 05054 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Special Train will be cancelled until February 28.

Details of Short Termination/Short Origination Trains

• Train No. 01027 Dadar-Gorakhpur Special Train will be short terminated at Mau Junction until February 26.

• Train No. 01028 Gorakhpur-Dadar Special Train will operate from Mau Junction until February 28.

• Train No. 22921 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Express will be short-terminated at Balrampur until February 22nd.

• Train No. 22922 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Express will run from Balrampur until February 24th.

• Train No. 15031 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction Express will be short-terminated at Gomtinagar until February 24th.

• Train No. 15032 Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Express will run from Gomtinagar until February 24th.

• Train No. 11055 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Express will run on the extended route to Gonda until February 27th.

• Train No. 11056 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will run on the extended route from Gonda until March 1st.

• Train No. 20103 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur Express will run on the extended route to Azamgarh until February 27th.

• Train No. 20104 Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will run on the extended route from Azamgarh till February 28.

• Train No. 19409 Sabarmati-Gorakhpur Express will run on the extended route till Thawe till February 26.

• Train No. 19410 Gorakhpur-Sabarmati Express will run on the extended route from Thawe till February 28.
