EPFO 3.0: Fund Withdrawals via ATM) Crores of members of the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) are eagerly waiting for EPFO 3.0. Its most popular feature is the facility to withdraw money from PF accounts through ATM. With the introduction of this new facility, members will not need to fill out online or offline claim forms to withdraw PF money, which will make the process very easy. (Epfo Latest Update)

Under the EPFO 3.0 platform, they will be able to withdraw their PF money directly from the ATM. Till now there have been reports that this facility can start in June 2025. But the month of June is about to end now. In such a situation, it is natural for the question to arise in the minds of the people is this facility going to start in the next few days? What is the latest update about this? When will PF money be withdrawn from ATM-
After the launch of EPFO 3.0, PF members will be able to withdraw money directly from their account through ATM or UPI, just like they withdraw from their savings account. There will be no need to fill out the claim form for this. However, this facility has not started yet; according to reports, technical work is going on on it so that real-time transactions can be done.

The facility will be available through a bank linked to a PF account-

However, it is also being said that EPFO does not have the status of any bank at present. Therefore, it cannot provide an ATM facility directly right now. Therefore, the plan has been made in such a way that the facility of withdrawing money from an ATM is provided through a bank account linked to the PF account. After the implementation of this facility, withdrawing PF money (EPF Withdrawal) will become as easy as withdrawing from a bank account through an ATM card (atm card for a bank account).

It is important to save PF savings for retirement-
The purpose of the Provident Fund is to promote savings for retirement. In such a situation, there will be no exemption to withdraw the entire balance deposited in the PF account from ATM or UPI. Only a part of the total deposit can be withdrawn in this way. The rest of the PF balance will remain locked so that savings for retirement remain.

How is money withdrawn from PF now-

At present, EPFO members can fill out the claim form online or offline to withdraw their money. The claim also has to be made in the auto-settlement facility started during COVID-19. This process has now become faster than before, but it still takes about three days. On June 24, the government increased the auto-settlement limit from ₹ 1 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh, so that now claims up to ₹ 5 lakh will be processed quickly without manual verification.

EPFO 3.0 will start a new era of digital service-

EPFO 3.0 is an upgraded digital platform of EPFO. Through this, more than 9 crore PF subscribers across the country will get fast, transparent, and user-friendly service. If there is any error in the name, date of birth, or bank details, then there is no need to go to the office to fill out the form to correct it. Now you will be able to do this work yourself online from home.

Along with this, the need to upload a photo of the check or passbook in the online claim has also been eliminated. Employer verification is no longer necessary to update the bank account. Now you can do this work only with Aadhaar-based authentication.

To take advantage of EPFO 3.0, do these things-

To take advantage of new facilities like withdrawing money from an ATM, your UAN should be active and linked to your Aadhaar and bank account. If these tasks are not completed, do them as soon as possible. After the launch of EPFO 3.0, you will be able to avail all these digital services. This will increase transparency and speed, which will strengthen the vision of Digital India.
