Bollywood is buzzing, and not for the reasons you might expect! Fawad Khan, who made half of India swoon with Khoobsurat and Kapoor & Sons, is back after nine long years. His big Bollywood comeback, Abir Gulaal, is making headlines, but with a messy, spicy twist.

A recent report dropped a bombshell that has left everyone absolutely SHOOK: Fawad allegedly bagged between Rs 5-10 crore for Abir Gulaal. Considering he usually charges around Rs 2 crore per film in Pakistan and about Rs 15-20 lakh per TV episode, this is, quite literally, a glow-up of epic proportions. Talk about securing the bag! However, it is worth mentioning that News18 Showsha has not confirmed the authenticity of these payment rumours.

Sadly, it is not all glitz and glam. Abir Gulaal has been caught in a political storm following the horrifying terror attack in Pahalgam. In the wake of the tragic event, a source close to India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting revealed that Fawad's much-anticipated film might not see a theatrical release in India. Brutal, right?
Fawad Khan, visibly heartbroken by the news of the attack, reportedly took to Instagram Stories to express his grief, stating that he was "deeply saddened" by the incident and that his prayers were with the victims and their families. His co-star, Vaani Kapoor, also shared her devastation, saying she felt "numb" and "at a loss of words" after seeing the horrific scenes from Pahalgam.

With rising tensions and public sentiment running high, Abir Gulaal might become one of Bollywood’s most talked-about films that no one actually gets to watch. And if the Rs 10 crore paycheck rumour is true, Fawad really just collected his coin and dipped. Now THAT is what you call a plot twist.
