However, many times the food packed from home gets spoiled during the journey itself. Then the home food also gets spoiled, and one may be forced to depend on outside food. However, if you take food from home with proper packing, then the journey can be comfortably completed for two days without getting spoiled. Parathas
Parathas are a common food for breakfast. But you can also pack parathas during the journey, which will last for two to three days comfortably. However, the parathas that you want to pack for the journey, make them in a special way. Instead of potato, pyaar, or paneer parathas, you can keep parathas stuffed with roasted dry spices or sattu parathas for travel. It has less moisture, and there is less chance of spoiling. Fry them in more oil or ghee and pack them only after cooling. Crispy kachori also does not rot for two to three days.
Pua
Crispy and sweet puris can also be best for long journeys. They do not spoil for 10-15 days. Mix sugar and ghee in the flour and knead it, roll out small and slightly thick puris, and fry them in more oil or ghee.
Puri
Puri fried in ghee or oil remains safe for two days. Puri can be eaten with pickle or sauce. Salty puri can also be made by adding a little salt and celery to the puri flour. They taste amazing with tea.
Mathri or Namkapare
Mathri or Namkapare are the best snack options and do not spoil quickly. If you need snacks every now and then during a long journey, then you may have to spend a lot. But you can pack homemade Mathri or Namkapare, which can last for 15 days or even more.

Thepla
Gujarati Thepla is an evergreen option for long journeys. To ensure that thepla does not spoil for many days, do not use curd while making it. Add more oil to the dough. This will keep it soft and prevent it from spoiling for a long time. After making thepla, when it cools down completely, keep it in an airtight container. By doing this, it remains fresh for a week.
