Tirupati: A shocking incident surfaced from Andhra Pradesh, where a leopard tried to attack people riding two-wheelers at night at the foothills of Tirupati. The incident was recorded by a dashcam of a car coming from behind. The visuals of the leopard attack also surfaced online.
In the viral video, it could be seen that people travelling on a bike had a narrow escape after a leopard pounced on them at night. However, the speed of the bike saved the rider and the pillion from the big cat.

The video shows that the leopard suddenly appeared from the forest alongside the road and attacked the vehicle. Fortunately, the rider did not lose balance after the animal hit the bike. According to reports, the people were going from Alipiri to Cherlopalli.

Leopard Sighted Near Alipiri Walkway In March This Year:
Notably, leopard sighting is common in the region, as big tends tend to come out on roads adjacent to forest in search of their food. Earlier in Match this year, a leopard was also sighted on the Alipiri walkway in Tirupati. The big cat was sighted on the walkway near Galigupuram, reported The News Minute. The incident was captured on CCTV of a shop.
Two weeks prior to this incident, a leopard was also sighted near Muggu Bavi on the walkway.
Notably, Alipiri walkway is used by devotees daily to reach the Sri Venkateshwara temple atop Tirumala hills. This 9-km-route has over 3,500 steps to reach the shrine.
