Gwalior (Madhya Pardesh): Gwalior police have solved the case of a daylight robbery that took place three days ago, in which Rs 30 lakh was looted at gunpoint from the cashier (munim) of a liquor trader.
According to information, four accused have been arrested in the matter. The police have recovered Rs 20 lakh in cash and a Brezza car from their possession. One accused is still absconding.
The robbery was planned by former manager Shivam Kushwaha, who worked at liquor trader Vinod Shivhare’s shop but was fired four months ago.
Along with his associates Deepak Kushwaha, Vikas Gurjar, and Vijay Kansana, he executed the crime. After the robbery, Rahul Gurjar came in a car to pick them up. Another accused, Vishal Gurjar, remains at large.

Around 80 officers were involved in the investigation. The robbers had also conducted a recce of the location 2 days before the incident.
The robbery occurred on Wednesday near Chamunda Devi Temple on Koteshwar Road, when the cashier, Asaram Kushwaha, was on his way to deposit ₹32.63 lakh in the bank.
Masked men on a bike threatened him with a gun and snatched the cash-filled bag. The accused’s bike, registered in Morena, was later found abandoned near a petrol pump in Jalalpur on Gwalior-Morena Road.
