Jaipur, (Rajasthan), July 28: In a light-hearted and interesting moment, Former Rajasthan Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot's convoy was blocked by his follower to make an unusual and strange request. The youth greeted Ashok Gehlot with warm gesture and requested the former CM to get a Defender for himself. The high-end luxury model car can cost between Rs 1 crore to Rs 3 crore. Ashok Gehlot's replied with affection and said, "Politics runs on work, not cars."
The exited fan said, “Sir, I’ve been seeing you for 15 years and every time you’re in the same car, same number plate, same vehicle! These days, even junior leaders change their cars every few months. But you still use the same old car. I’m a huge fan of yours. Please, next time when you become the Chief Minister, get a new Defender, maybe in blue or black!”

Ashok Gehlot Responds with a Smile
Ashok Gehlot smiled at the fan and replied warmly, “What’s wrong with this car? It’s comfortable, isn’t it?” But the fan wasn’t done yet. He quickly added, “It must be comfortable, sir. But these days, style also matters. Leaders are recognized by their cars now. Of course, you already have your identity, but now you need a luxury look too.”
