Emmerdale double death looms as John makes killer confession

Send Push

There could be a double death on the way on if John Sugden has his way.

The killer made a sinister threat about one character on Thursday, eyeing up his next victim after he killed Nate Robinson in September. Amid theories he may have caused the incident that left his ex Aidan Moore injured and in a coma, possibly forever, he hinted Aidan could be on his radar.

On Thursday we saw Mackenzie Boyd named by John has his planned next victim though. He hinted to Aidan he was going to kill Mack, after he meddled in his relationship with Aaron Dingle.

Aaron was upset about John lying to him over Aidan, the fact he was his ex-fiancé and the fact he's still alive. John had claimed he was just someone from the army and that he was dead.

But in recent episodes Aaron and others found out who Aidan really was, and the fact he was still alive and in a coma in a hospital in Leeds. After Mack showed John the door when he arrived to speak with Aaron, Thursday's episode saw the fallout as Aaron realised what his pal had done.

Mack made it clear he didn't buy John's story and thought he was dodgy. He told Aaron he had to send him packing as otherwise Aaron would have forgiven him, with him wanting John and Aaron to be over.

Aaron fumed at Mack for getting involved and soon he heard John out, but all ended in tears. John repeated that Aaron could trust him, and gave his reasons for lying about Aidan and hiding his past.

His partner hit back though and kept asking what else he was hiding, and whether he was "running" from something. Aaron was left unsure if he could go ahead with the wedding or even their romance, as he slammed John for keeping things from him yet again.

John ended up leaving as requested by Aaron, and he headed straight for the hospital. He was quick to call out Aidan, blaming him for everything that had happened before admitting he wished he was dead.

It seems he's wanted him to die ever since the incident happened, once again hinting he may have had something to do with it. The comment also hinted he might do something to Aidan if needs be, as he wants him out the way.

He commented: "You just had to stay alive didn't you. There isn't a moment, any day, that I don't wish you were dead." It's then that he made his next target clear though, hinting he planned to kill Mack.

John said: "Right now someone else needs putting out of his misery. That will be my friend Mack. He is gonna find what happens when people push me that little bit too hard."

Not only did this massively hint that Aidan was one of those people that pushed him too far, leading to his injuries, but it also suggested Mack could be killed off. So will John take his revenge amid theories Mack will die?
