However, as thousands of fans clicked on the re-sale link, they were sent to a page which featured a loading bar that remained stuck on two green lines.
Fans immediately took to to share their complaints as one wrote: "Who knew a wee green rectangle would make me die," along with a screenshot of the loading bar.
"Are the funny green little bars meant to move or..." another questioned while one added: "LET ME IN ." One fan commented: "The green bars of death yet again ffs."
According to the Glastonbury website, this evening's resale is for ticket and coach travel options. General admission tickets will be available from 9am on Sunday, April 27.
Any cancelled accommodation options for Worthy View, Sticklinch and campervan and caravan passes will become available on Sunday at 11am.
Tickets will only be available on the official Glastonbury Festival website, with no other site or agency allocated tickets.
However, in order to get ahold of a ticket, everyone on any booking must be registered. Registration closed at 5pm on Wednesday April 23, and will not reopen until after the resale.
