Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway was forced to present a segment alone as Richard Madeleyabruptly walked off set.
During Monday’s (August 25) episode of theITV hit breakfast show, Kate, 58, and Richard, 69, make a return to our TV screens to present the day's top stories.
However, one segment took an unexpected turn. They welcomed Raymond Martin, managing director of the British Toilet Association, to discuss the lack of public toilets.

There are now almost half as many public toilets as there were 25 years ago, according to Raymond, who says Britain is facing a “national crisis of convenience”.
However, the talk of toilets prompted Richard to go to the loo. He said, “Talking about it, now I need to go on a break.”

Everyone burst out laughing as he continued: “That’s the psychological impact of it.” Turning to Raymond, he joked, “Well, I’ll think about you when I spend a penny.”
Raymond chuckled as he replied: “That’s good.” Kate jumped in: “Good thing you’ve got a good scene of humour.”
As Kate attempted to present what was coming up on the show, Richard couldn’t wait, so he abruptly got out of his seat and began to walk off set to go to the toilet.
Kate was then forced to present a section of the show alone as she pointed out: “Richard is off the loo now.”
After the break, the duo didn’t address Richard's disappearance from the show; however, he was back on our screens to carry on with the rest of the programme.
It comes as earlier on in the show, Laura Tobin shared record-breaking news after announcing that the weather for the Bank Holiday in Britain is forecast to be one of the hottest ever.
Temperatures in some parts of the country could even reach tropical levels of up to 30 degrees.
The weather presenter shared: "Good morning to you. It is a Bank Holiday Monday for some of us, and it could be record-breakingly warm.
“And it is down to the remnants of record-breakingly warm hurricane Erin that brought very stormy conditions across eastern parts of America.
She added: "This is a satellite showing the spiral of clouds heading our way and what it does is it brings up very warm air from the nearby continent.
"So these are the highest temperatures that England, Wales, and Northern Ireland have seen on August Bank Holiday Monday, and Wales and Northern Ireland could break those records today."
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX
