Prince William told to 'take a break from saving world' as birthday tributes pour in

Royal fans have shared their delight at an adorable post in honour of Prince William's 43rd birthday. To mark the occasion, a post made to the official social media channels he shares with wife Kate Middleton showed the future King sitting alongside his beloved black cocker spaniel Orla and her delightful litter of puppies.

It prompted royal fans to share their well wishes to Prince William on his big day as well as comment on his family's dynamic. One user said: "Happy birthday Prince William. Live long and prosper. Keep doing work for royalty and may you have a wonderful birthday."

Another user added: "Happy birthday Prince William. I hope you and your lovely family have a wonderful day!"

Orla became a treasured addition to the family in 2020 as a thoughtful present from Kate'sbrother, James Middleton.

She quickly cemented her place in the family and accompanies them on trips. The recent arrival of her four puppies has reportedly captured the affection of the young royals, George, age 11, Charlotte, aged 10 and Louis, aged seven.

The heartwarming photo was uploaded to the official social media account of The Prince and Princess of Wales with the endearing caption: "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, [Catherine, George, Charlotte, Louis], Orla and the puppies."

King Charles and Queen Camilla also joined in the celebration by sharing a special birthday tribute to Prince William, posting a snapshot of him during his visit to agricultural land belonging to the Duchy of Cornwall near Bath.

It shows him smiling widely while sat on a rock wall and the caption on the picture read: "Happy birthday to The Prince of Wales!" followed by a balloon and confetti emoji to mark the celebration.

Elsewhere, royal fans have said Prince William is 'ageing like a fine wine', with others pointing out an adorable detail about his marriage to Kate.

At a recent event, the future King was seen smiling fondly at his wife, much to the delight of onlookers.

The pair made an appearance at the Order of the Garter in Windsor on Monday (June 16), where William donned the traditional dark blue velvet mantles and feathered bonnet of the order.

Fans were quick to react, with one commenting: "Those two are aging like a fine wine!"

Others noticed the affectionate gaze that Princess Kate seemed to bestow upon her husband, with one fan remarking: "20+ years and three adorable children[...] Catherine only has eyes for Prince William. This is true love."
