Pineapples are a delicious tropical fruit, and valuable source of both manganese and vitamin C. Typically grown in Costa Rica, Brazil, the Philippines or Thailand, pineapples are delicious in both sweet and savoury dishes - or just on their own.
However, cutting into the fruitcan be tricky, due to its odd shape, tough skin, and the leaves sticking out of it. However, one woman named Anna Viktori, known online as Anna Knows, shared her 15 second hackthat will leave you with delicious pieces of pineapple perfect for snacking or sharing with others - and it's a lot easier than you might expect.
Taking to her TikTok account, where she has over 61,500 followers from posting videos of clever kitchen and food hacks, Anna went on to share her pineapple cutting hack.

"Stop cutting it wrong!" Anna wrote on the video as she showed a pair of hands removing the plastic label around the pineapple.
She then used her hands to tear off the top part of the pineapple with all the leaves. She then grabbed a large knife to slice off each of the shorter ends of the fruit.
While these steps might seem normal so far, Anna then went on to share the 'game-changing' way to cut the rest of the fruit.
Anna then lifts the pineapple to stand upright on the chopping board before slicing it in half, leaving her with two long halves of the exotic fruit. She then proceeded to place one half of the fruit on her chopping board with the skin facing upwards, allowing her to see the pineapple's rinds.
She then began to slice the fruit diagonally, following the 'lines' between the rinds in the skin.
As she neared the end, she rotated the fruit 90 degrees before continuing to cut along its line, resulting in 'fingers' of pineapple, perfect for a snack.
In the video's caption, Anna wrote: "Wait for it... this pineapple trick is a total game-changer."
Numerous viewers quickly commented on the post, with many praising Anna for her straightforward hack.
"My mouth is watering right now," one person remarked, while another added: "Just changed my life."
Another viewer commented: "This is good for cookouts so people can grab as they go."
However, several individuals pointed out this method leaves the core, which many find unappealing, inside the fruit.
"What about the core?" one person queried. In response, another person suggested: "Great way to get more fibre in your diet."
Another individual suggested you could simply remove it before you start slicing the fruit diagonally into sticks.
