Only use verified, official websites or apps for bookings. Double-check the website address (URL) before entering any personal information.
If you get a call or message asking for payment, verify the source thoroughly.
Look for red flags like incorrect spellings or unusual URLs in links—these are often signs of phishing.
If you fall victim to any cyber fraud, report it immediately at or visit your nearest police station.
As our lives become more digital, the risks also increase. It’s important to stay alert and informed. Simple steps like verifying a website or not sharing sensitive information can save you from huge losses. Stay smart, stay secure—and don’t let a scammer turn your pilgrimage into a problem.
