Tech Tips: For an AC to cool properly, it is important that its compressor unit is installed at the right place. Know where you should install the AC compressor.
AC Tips: AC becomes an important device to provide relief during summer. Coming from the scorching sun outside and sitting in an AC room gives a lot of relief to the body. AC comes in many variants and capacities, but how well it will cool depends on where you have fitted the outside unit i.e. the compressor. If the compressor is fitted at the wrong place, it will consume electricity and cooling will not be better. Not only this, if the air flow is not proper, then the AC can also blast due to overheating.

There can be a blast
If the compressor is fitted at the wrong place, it will consume electricity and will not provide proper cooling. Not only this, if the air flow is not proper, then due to overheating, there can be a blast in the AC. Therefore, while installing the AC compressor, some things must be kept in mind, so that the machine remains safe for a long time and works well.

Where should the compressor be kept?
The compressor should be kept in a place where it can get air. It is important to maintain air flow around the compressor so that it can cool down. Keeping the compressor unit at the wrong place will not provide cool air and in such a situation, the AC compressor may get damaged or even catch fire due to overheating.

Where to place it - rooftop or balcony?
Both rooftop and balcony are the right places to place the AC compressor unit. But whether you choose the rooftop or balcony depends on the space available in your home. If your balcony remains shaded for a long time, then the balcony will be the best place to place the compressor. However, if you do not have a balcony in your home, then you can also place it on the rooftop.

While placing it on the roof, keep this in mind that
to get better cooling from the AC, it is better to keep the compressor in the shade. If you have to get the compressor fitted on the roof, then definitely get a shade made for it. Get the shade made in such a way that water does not fall directly on the compressor and the sunlight also does not fall directly on it during the day. This will protect the compressor from the effects of sunlight and water and will also increase its life.

Airflow should be maintained.
While installing the compressor, make sure that the unit gets enough air or not. If the place is very small and there is lack of ventilation, avoid installing the compressor there. The compressor installed in such a place starts overheating.
