The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said that there was a game going on to get medical colleges recognized with the help of fake faculty and fake students. This entire conspiracy was carried out by the Ministry of Health, the National Medical Commission, private medical colleges, and a network of brokers. The CBI said that the members of the network used to inform the medical colleges about this before the inspection for recognition.
After this, fake faculty and fake medical students were made to stand during the inspection in the medical college. The names of the evaluators of the college were also told, so that they were bribed before the inspection and made ready to report in favor of the college.
