Why was he kidnapped?
When the police investigated the case, it was discovered that the kidnapping was not orchestrated by anyone else but by the woman's family. The station in-charge stated that the woman was married, but was fed up with her husband's drinking and physical violence. Therefore, she had left her husband's home and had been living in a live-in relationship with a young man named Yash in Mandsaur for the past three months.
