*Warning - This article contains major spoilers for episode eight of Celebrity Traitors.*
Celebrity Traitors fans were in tears as an "iconic" star was eliminated before the final on Thursday (October 30).
Earlier this month, Claudia Winkleman returned to the Scottish Highlands, as 19 celebrities hoped to lie, betray and backstab their way to winning £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Alan Carr, Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross were chosen as the Traitors, and the trio quickly made it their mission to kill off as many Faithfuls as possible.
The latest innocent to be murdered was Lucy Beaumont after she was greeted by the Traitors in a shock face-to-face killing on Wednesday (October 29).
The drama didn't end there, as Jonathan soon became the first Traitor to be banished when he received the most votes at the roundtable, reports Wales Online.
Cat and Alan were then tasked with murdering in plain sight during a celebratory dinner. They had to toast their intended victim with the magic words: "Parting is such sweet sorrow."
At the start of tonight's episode, it was revealed that Celia Imrie had been killed by the Traitors over dinner, after Alan cursed her with his toast.
"Stephen [Fry], you know, has just got that reign. The quotes and everything he'd say... What did he say to me before he went to bed?" Alan said at the table, before delivering the final blow to Celia.
"Parting is such sweet sorrow, Celia," he added, confirming the actress' exit from the game.
Fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their upset after Celia was murdered, with one person writing: "No way Celia. I can't cope."

Another added: "Oh Celia!! The Queen. Gutted," while a third said: "I've never been more devastated after a Traitors murder."
A fourth viewer echoed the sentiment, saying: "ALAN CARR I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU," with another adding: "WHY DID HE KILL CELIA WHAT I'M CRYING."
Speaking after her murder, Celia said: "Oh, honestly! Just because I was brave enough to get the one Traitor out. What a mean one.
"I loved being here. It's been gorgeous, and I'm devastated. I so wanted to stay till the end, but it's a game."
