Black Mirror season seven has a crop of huge names to the cast of the Netflix show's highly anticipated next outing.

The next batch of six episodes will be dropping in 2025.

For the first time in the science-fiction anthology's history, this season will feature a sequel episode, one which will continue the story of USS Callister.

It will also feature some well-known names from both Hollywood blockbusters and British dramas like The Crown and Doctor Who.

The main cast is as follows:

Awkwafina (Jackpot)

Milanka Brooks (Mum And I Don't Talk Anymore)

Peter Capaldi (Criminal Record)

Emma Corrin (Deadpool and Wolverine)

Patsy Ferran (Firebrand)

Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers)

Lewis Gribben (Blade Runner 2099)

Osy Ikhile (Citadel)

Rashida Jones (Sunny)

Siena Kelly (Domino Day)

Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids)

Issa Rae (Barbie)

Paul G. Raymond (Horrible Histories)

Plot details for the upcoming episodes are currently being kept under wraps.

However, fans of the hit series can rest easy as filming is currently underway and will be complete in time for release at some point next year.

Created by Charlie Brooker, each episode of the series includes a dark fable, often in the near future, with technology that terrorises, manipulates or warps the minds of its characters.

Previous cast members have included Jodie Whittaker, Anthony Mackie, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya and Bryce Dallas Howard.

Black Mirror is available to stream on Netflix.
