
A number of vehicles were engulfed in flames at Brent Cross Shopping Centre's car park in North , with black plumes of smoke rising high into the sky. Around 25 firefighters were called to the shopping centre just after 4pm to reports of a fire in the open-air car park near Prince Charles Drive.
The London Fire Brigade says the fire has now been brought under control with no reports of any injuries. The cause of the blaze is now under investigation, the brigade said. Smoke could be seen rising across Barnet, with photos from the scene appearing to show damage to a number of cars.
