Whilst the model would have cost around £80,000 when it was new, it currently has an estimate of between £23,000 and £27,000. As a result, it is likely that one lucky bidder will be able to get behind the wheel of the performance coupe with celebrity status for less than the price of a . What's more, the Aston Martin is packed full of interesting features, one in particular being unique to this very example.

Built from 1994 to 1999, the original version of Aston Martin DB7 was a retro-themed coupe which took a lot of inspiration from models like the DB4 and DB6 of the 1960s.
Available as a hardtop coupe or convertible, all pre-facelift examples of the DB7 came with a 3.2-litre six-cylinder engine that produced 335bhp - allowing the Aston Martin to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds.
The example that was bought by Elton John is finished in Rolls-Royce Brewster Green, a similar shade to the famous British Racing Green, nicely contrasting the Light Tan interior.
Inside, the pop icon's Aston Martin comes equipped with a lot of features that were considered the height of luxury during the mid-90s. These include electronically adjustable and heated front seats, a heated front windscreen, and a Motorola car phone in the centre console.
However, one feature unique to this DB7 is a six-CD autochanger and massive Alpine V12 amplifier, which Elton John ordered as special equipment.
Despite the Aston's old age, the coupe still has lots of life left to give, having covered just 14,500 miles from new. The winning bidder will also receive two sets of keys and the original V5 document signed by Sir Elton himself.
Whilst the opportunity to own a celebrity car is rather rare, H&H Classics are auctioning off a number of other interesting models at the Imperial War Museum.
These include a 1924 Rolls-Royce Springfield 40/50hp Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster that was previously owned by F1 World Champion Phil Hill - with the vintage convertible expected to sell for up to £250,000.
A 1972 Jaguar XJ6 4.2 owned by Nancy Sinatra and a 1971 Cadillac Fleetwood Series Seventy-Five Limousine kept by John Entwistle from The Who are also going under the hammer.
