said Reform UK's soaring poll rating has put a "cat amongst the pigeons" in a blunt four-word verdict. The Ashfield MP shared a poll from Freshwater Strategies which predicted the insurgent party, led by Nigel Farage, would claim 372 seats at the next General Election -an outright majority.
The nascent political movement, which is less than three years old, is currently polling at 32%, according to the data. Labour follows on 22%, with the Tories on 19%, the Lib Dems on 15%, and the Greens on 8%. However, despite Sir Ed Davey's party polling fourth highest, the data suggests it is indeed the Lib Dems who would claim the second most seats at 81 - and become the official opposition in Parliament.
The poll showed Labour on just 76 seats - a loss of 335 - while the Tories would claim just 34 seats. The SNP would even outperform the Tories if the data proves correct. John Swinney's party would get 44 seats, while Plaid Cymru and the Greens would get six and five seats respectively.
It's not only the pollsters that fancy Reform may have broken the two party system-the bookies think Mr Farage could be on his way to Downing Street, too.
Coral's John Hill said: "For the first time since they were founded, Reform UK now top our betting to win the most seats at a general election. We continue to see one-way traffic for the party ahead of the next election, with also the favourite to be the next prime minister."
The party is fresh off the back of the by-election win in Runcorn and Helsby, where they beat Labour by just six votes. Reform also took control of ten councils and won the mayoralty both in Greater Lincolnshire and Hull & East Yorkshire.
However, with the next General Election not until 2029, plenty could change.
Coral is offering odds of 13-8 on Labour winning the most seats at the next election, while the are third best at 9-4.
