A desperate rescue mission has been launched after a boat capsized in the River Thames.
Police, firefighters and paramedics have swarmed Sunbury Lock, near Wheatleys Eyot in Surrey, this morning after a boat carrying six people got into trouble.
One person remains missing with rescue teams scouring the river, after the incident occurred at 8.50am.
The local fire brigade has warned people to avoid the area as the search continues.
The vessel was believed to be carrying six people in total. Besides the one that is still unaccounted for, three were taken to hospital.
