Meghan Markle was branded "bossy" after she brushed off veteran party planner Lady Elizabeth Anson's wedding ideas, royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith revealed. When asked about Prince Harry's input, Meghan apparently remarked: "He will write from Africa", in remarks reported by MailOnline.
Queen Elizabeth II apparently told Lady Elizabeth, her cousin: "Meghan could turn into nothing but trouble; she sees things in a different way."
She also told Ms Bedell Smith: "When I spoke with the Queen, she said she is not at all content," adding that the row had "really upset" Her Majesty. Tensions rose further when Prince Harry bypassed royal protocol by asking the Archbishop of Canterbury to officiate. Palace insiders say the snub caused deep offence and left lasting bruises within the Royal Household. Asked if Meghan could be "bossy", Lady Elizabeth said: "So I gather. Very much so."
