viewers were left fuming as a team was branded "the worst ever" after a poor performance in the final Chase. Ryan, Matt, Sangita and and Joanna all managed to get through to the final, giving fans hopes for an exciting final Chase. But it all seemed to go wrong as the team only managed to get eight questions in two minutes.

The poor performance made it an easy match for Shaun to catch up with them and steal the prize of £18,000 from them, with the players struggling to answer the easiest of questions.

The Dark Destroyer quickly took control of the game as he caught the group with over one minute left on the clock, meaning it wasn't even a close match as the group gave him back the prize easily. As the group's round ended with just 12 points, commiserated with the team as he asked them how they were feeling.

Ryan admitting he was "fuming" and said he was sure he could have "answered two more", before kicking himself over a question he had gotten wrong, and even admitted their round was "shocking".

Joanna laughed as she begged for a do-over, as Bradley told them that they would "watch it back and there would be four or five questions they could have answered," before adding that sometimes players "get tongue-tied".

As Joanna was called out by angry viewers for passing too many times during the round, they rushed to social media to moan about the "boring" twist in the episode.

A third chimed in: "Nodded off for last half hour," as a fourth raged: "Sorry but for a full team that was embarrassingly bad."

A fifth agreed: "Why does Johanna keep buzzing straightaway and then passing when there's 3 others on the team? Numpty. Threw it away. 12 ffs."
