Medak: In a tragic incident, seven people lost their lives after a car in which they were travelling met with an accident in Telangana's Medak district on Wednesday. The accident took place near Shivampet village in the district. Among the deceased were six females. The incident occurred after the driver of the car reportedly lost control and rammed into a tree. The car then plunged into a stream. The driver of the vehicle survived. He received serious injuries. After receiving information, authorities rushed to the spot.He is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The bodies were recovered and shifted to the morgue for postmortem. A case is being registered and further investigation has been launched into the incident. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed shock over a tragic road accident at Shivampeta mandal of Medak district. Reddy spoke to the authorities and inquired about the road mishap The CM directed the officials to provide better medical treatment and necessary assistance to the injured.
