New Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a generally cloudy sky with mild weather conditions in the city. The temperature is expected to hover around 36 degrees Celsius during the day and 26 degrees Celsius at night. Winds will blow from the southeast at speeds of 8 to 12 km/h. IMD has also predicted very light rain in some areas, providing some relief from the heat on Wednesday.
Delhi's Weekly Weather ForecastThe India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast generally cloudy skies and varying weather conditions over the next seven days for Delhi and NCR. From September 26 to September 30, the region will experience temperatures ranging from 31 degrees Celsius during the day to around 23 degrees Celsius at night. On September 26 and 27, light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds with speeds between 25-35 km/h, are expected. Moving into September 28, generally cloudy skies will persist, with very light to light rain anticipated. The weather will gradually clear up from September 29 onwards, with partly cloudy skies forecasted and temperatures slightly rising. Wind speeds will vary, with moderate breezes from the east and southeast. Delhi's Air Quality As the monsoon season approaches its end, the air quality in the national capital worsened to the "poor" category on Tuesday, according to officials. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported the city's Air Quality Index (AQI) at 204 by 9 PM, placing it in the "poor" range. An AQI between 0-50 is considered "good," 51-100 "satisfactory," 101-200 "moderate," 201-300 "poor," 301-400 "very poor," and 401-500 "severe." The Air Quality Early Warning System for Delhi has predicted that the air quality is likely to be in the "moderate" category on Wednesday with a possibility of light rain.You may also like
