The Duleep Trophy, which opened India's domestic season this year, came about as quite a successful outing for quite a few players. Against India B in the second game, he picked eight wickets and followed it up with five more against India A.

Abhimanyu EaswaranHaving played first-class cricket for over a decade now, Abhimanyu Easwaran has become a household name for anyone following India's domestic cricket. He finished with 309 runs in three matches at an average of 77.25, which included an unbeaten 157-run knock against India C and another hundred against India D. Mukesh KumarThree-Test old Mukesh Kumar signalled his intention to turn up for the country in the upcoming series against New Zealand next month with a commendable performance in the Duleep Trophy. He bagged 15 wickets in three matches at an economy of 4. He picked five wickets in all three matches and helped India B win their opening game against India A. Shashwat RawatLast but not least, Shashwat Rawat can well be termed the find of the Duleep Trophy this season. He played a tournament-winning role for India A with the bat, finishing with 256 runs in two matches at an average of 85.33. He scored a match-winning hundred against India C in the final game of the tournament to ensure India A finished brilliantly even after losing their first match.

The Uttarakhand lad has played 17 first-class games and has scored 1451 runs at an average of 53.74.
