Donald Trump's much-anticipated appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast was completed at the former UFC Commentator's studio in Austin, Texas on Friday. Donald Trump is closing off the 2024 campaign trail media blitz with an appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, a podcast with over 14 million listeners on just Spotify.Ahead of recording the podcast, Trump held a small rally with supporters in Austin where referred to America as the "garbage can" for rest of the world. “We’re like a garbage can for the rest of the world to dump the people that they don’t want,” Trump said.Texas, a decidedly Republican state, has been largely ignored by the former president in this campaign trail. He was in the State back in May 202 to attend an event hosted by the National Rifles Association.Even as he visited the state on Friday, there was no mega rally planned in the state. Trump recorded the podcast with Rogan and held a small rally with supporters. He was joined at the event by Alexis Alexis Nungaray, the mother of Jocelyn Alexis Nungaray, a 12-year-old killed by illegal immigrants in the state.Harris, meanwhile, had a mega event in the state where she was set to be joined by singer Beyonce. The rally was being held at the Shell Energy Stadium, the home ground of Houston's Major League Soccer team. The focus of the rally was reproductive rights, as the state has seen a complete abortion ban since the overturning of Roe v Wade in 2022.My god
