Kiara Advani Spends Sunday On War 2 Set, Clicks Selfie With Director Ayan Mukerji

Kiara Advani is back in Mumbai after filming a romantic song with Hrithik Roshan in Italy. She is playing the lead in War 2. Apart from Kiara and Hrithik, the spy thriller also features Jr NTR who is debuting in Bollywood with an antagonist’s role.

The shoot is in full swing and director Ayan Mukerji is leaving no stone unturned. Amid the hype, Kiara shared a selfie with Ayan on her Instagram stories. Dressed in white with a stole covering her head, the actress’ caption read, “Holy Sunday”

Kiara and Hrithik were shooting for a song in Italy from September 18 till the first week of October. Composed by Pritam, the track is reportedly sung by Arijit Singh. As per reports, Ayan shot the song in exotic locales of Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento Peninsula. Apart from this, the unit reportedly completed a high-octane action sequence and some dramatic scenes before flying back to India. A source revealed that she will be seen as the fighter performing a ‘commando fight’ in a shopping mall for their entry sequences. The said scene was shot at Infiniti Mall located in Malad, Mumbai for 4 days. War 2 is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe which began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012) followed by Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and then War (2019). The fourth film, Pathaan (2023), opened up multiple crossover possibilities after Salman Khan made a cameo as Tiger. In Tiger 3, Shah Rukh Khan had a special appearance. After War 2, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari take over the baton to continue the legacy with Alpha. It will release on December 25, 2025.
