Margao: A tragic incident unfolded in Sonarwada-Satemol, Raia, when a 40-year-old construction worker from Odisha was killed during a violent confrontation on Saturday night.

The victim, identified as Khageshwar Sarbar, was reportedly involved in a drunken brawl that turned deadly at the Golden House chawl where he resided with three other workers.

While the exact circumstances leading to the death of the construction worker are yet to be determined, police are focusing on gathering evidence and locating the missing workers who may have witnessed or been involved in the incident.
