Jaipur: With temperatures soaring, the state education department has allowed district administrations to take precautions, especially for school-going children, and change timings if needed. Beawar district administration Monday issued an order to change school timings. While earlier the schools started from 7.30am till 1pm, now the new timings will be 7am to 11am for all govt and private schools up to class 8 Tuesday onwards until the summer break. However, teachers and students from classes 9-12 will have to attend school for the full day.

An order issued on April 9 by director, secondary education, Sita Ram Jat states, "…since the beginning of April 2025, a continuous increase in the temperature was recorded due to which problems like heatwave and heatstroke are affecting the health of humans and animals." TNN
