Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat, in association with the district health and family welfare department, organised a health screening and check-up camp for all govt staff working in gram panchayats, taluk panchayats, and the zilla panchayat on Tuesday.
ZP CEO Anandh K said that the camp was arranged by the health department in association with private medical colleges. Specialists from the health department, as well as private hospitals, were invited to conduct the health screening at the Nethravati auditorium of the ZP. Specialists from general medicine, skin, cardiology, dental, orthopaedics, surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, gynaecology, and oncology participated in the camp.
He said that all officials and staff were directed to be present for the health screening with their Aadhaar and ID cards. While the health screening was free for officials and staff, they were also provided lunch at the venue, he added.
