Ranchi: Govt schools across the state will observe World Earth Day on April 22 through educational and artistic activities centred on the theme "Adopt Healthy Lifestyle (Developing Flora QR Code)". A novel programme will involve students creating QR codes for vegetation within and around their school compounds. These digital markers will serve as educational tools, offering details about individual plant species.
The event is integrated with the Eco Club for Mission LiFE programme, which commenced operations through its web portal today. Educational institutions can register and submit their activity records using their UDISE code during the period of April 22 to 30.
All state-run and govt-aided schools are now required to establish Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE. Schools requiring support can reach the helpdesk at 011-29581423 during 9 am to 10 am.
