The makers of the upcoming action thriller 'Ground Zer o' have dropped a striking new poster ahead of the trailer launch, scheduled for April 7, 2025. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the film stars Emraan Hashmi as BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey.
The makers took to social media and wrote "A faceless enemy in shadows, a soldier in pursuit. #GroundZero, trailer out tomorrow". The first trailer of the film will be launched at a grand event which will also see the leading stars like Emraan Hashmi, Sai Tamhankar, and real-life Deputy Commandant Dubey himself, and others in attendance.
The newly released poster showcases Emraan in full combat mode, standing alongside fellow soldiers as a shadowy veiled figure lurks beyond a fractured wall. The film is inspired by a real-life covert mission that changed the course of Indian history.
In a 1-minute 11-second teaser released earlier, Emraan’s character was introduced as a fearless soldier leading a high-stakes mission. He is seen delivering a commanding line, "Pehredaari bahut ho gayi, ab prahaar hoga" which in English translates to "(Enough guarding, now it’s time to strike)". The new poster gives a look into the challenges faced by Dubey and his team as they hunt down Ghazi Baba, the mastermind behind the 2001 Indian Parliament attack.
The film also features Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, Deepak Paramesh, Lalit Prabhakar, Rockey Raina, and Rahul Vohra in pivotal roles. Set in Kashmir's rugged terrain and will be a story of sacrifice and heroism and will be released in theatres on April 25, 2025.
Emraan Hashmi was last seen in 'Tiger 3', where he played the role of Aatish Rehman, a villainous character. He will be also seen in Adivi Sesh starrer 'Goodachari 2'.
