Kids get the shock of their lives to discover their parents were undercover Russian spies

Send Push
The children of a Russian spy couple under the name Ludwig and Maria finally returned home meeting an abrupt end to their double life, as the family was arrested recently while they were completing their morning breakfast. Outed as deep-cover spies for Russia, the family was living in their suburban home and soon were asked to fly over to Moscow in a Bombardier jet, but before entering the country, were tense about one more thing.

The couple was worried about disclosing to their children their entire genuine identities. Artem Viktorovich Dultsev and Anna Valarevna Dultseva were posing as an Argentinian couple and had been living in Slovenia for years. Their kids did not speak a word of Russian and were out of the blue shocked to know all about their parents’ ties with President Vladimir Putin , who greeted them upon their arrival in Moscow.

The couple pleaded to their Slovenian escorts not to address them by their real names in front of their kids, as they had not revealed their hidden life to their son and daughter. These two officers from Directorate S i.e. also known as the ‘illegals department’ of Russia’s SVR foreign intelligence agency had spent around a decade faking their identities. The couple has a 9-year-old son named Daniel, and an 11-year-old daughter named Sophie.

The kids always came through with the notion that their parents were Argentine citizens with the names Ludwig Gisch and Maria Mayer Muños. However, little did they know that their family had carefully constructed a strong lie and had been living in it for more than 10 years now. The government of Russia with President Putin’s support has spent decades trying to aid these officers and has been crafting their lives with a web of lies. However, they often forget that building a family around this web can come with a heavy price.
