The charge sheet filed by Mumbai Police in connection with the stabbing of actor Saif Ali Khan confirms that his elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, played a crucial role in taking him to the hospital after the brutal knife attack. For the unversed, the incident took place in the early hours of January 16, 2025, at the actor’s Mumbai residence.

According to the Free Press Journal, the charge sheet states that Saif was bleeding profusely after being attacked by an intruder. A house help managed to stop an auto outside the residence, and Kareena Kapoor Khan instructed them to rush Saif to the hospital. At that moment, a determined Taimur insisted on accompanying his father, reportedly saying, “I will go with Papa.” The actor was then taken to the hospital by the staff member Hari and his brave son Taimur.

Saif confronted the intruder and was stabbed multiple times—on his neck, chest, back, hands, and legs. Jeh’s nanny, who tried to stop the attacker, was also injured.

The intruder, reportedly identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, allegedly broke into the home with the intent to rob and attacked both Saif and a staff member using a wooden weapon and blade. He was arrested shortly after and remains in custody.
