The entire country is taken by shock as 26 tourists were killed in Pahalgam during a terrorist attack. These tourists were either on a pony ride or dining at local eateries. It was also reported that these terrorists asked the tourists their religion and then killed them as they were Hindus. While the entire nation and many celebrities have expressed their grief on this tragic incident, now Shatrughan Sinha has also reacted to it.
As the paparazzi asked him this question, the actor said, "Kya hua hai?" When further the paps told him about the attack in Pahalgam, he fired back and said, “Why are you saying Hindus, Hindus? Hindus, Muslims, all are Indians there."
He further urged everyone that this is a sensitive matter. He added, "This propaganda war is going on too much … I think this is a very sensitive issue. It should be looked into very deeply. We should not say or do anything that increases tension. Right now, the wounds need healing."
Many people on the internet cricitised the actor for not knowing the exact details of the incident and for not expressing grief towards those who lost their lives.
Meanwhile, as a reaction to this terrorist attack, India has announced a series of strong measures like expelling Pakistani military attachés, immediately shutting down the Attari land transit post and suspending the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty.
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's film 'Abir Gulaal' has also landed into trouble as it is now barred from releasing in India.
