Recently, Chunky Panday went on to share some of his fond memories from the early days when Shah Rukh Khan made his journey into the city of Mumbai.

Chunky Panday described how when Shah Rukh and his wife, Gauri Khan, first arrived in the city, they were still staying in a rented house."One of Shah Rukh's first friends in Bombay was my younger brother Chikki," Chunky remembered. "They're still the best of friends. Back then, Shah Rukh and Gauri used to come to our place often, just hanging out, sitting together watching video cassettes."

Chunky, while talking to "Timeout With Ankit" revealed how even in the initial days, he was very sure that SRK was going to become a superstar. "I was so sure this boy is gonna become a superstar. You could see that fire in him. He always had that talent," said Chunky, who believes that Shah Rukh's confidence and vision were apparent long before he was the global icon that he is today. "He hasn't changed one bit. I am really proud to have known him since then.

Well, this is not so long ago that Chunky Pandey's daughter Ananya was rubbing shoulders with Shah Rukh and his family. Best friend Suhana Khan, SRK's daughter, fondly remembered playdates at the Khan household. "Shah Rukh sir has this amazing ability to make you feel special," she said. "He's always made us feel like we're his lucky charm."

As Chunky Panday reminisced about those early days, it is obvious that this friendship of the Pandays with the Khans had seen the test of time, and that Shah Rukh Khan's magnetic personality and warmth have now become as memorable as they were back then.
