However, It is true that Trout has struggled to stay healthy in recent years, only playing in 279 games since 2021 due to injuries.

Mike Trout’s history of injuries
Mike Trout’s injuries have made it to the news and have been for as long as 2017, when he tore ulnar collateral ligament in his left thumb. He had to miss at least 47 days. Then in 2021, he missed at least 139 days due to calf strain, as per CBS.

In 2022, Trout was forced to miss at least 35 days, due to back inflammation after he was diagnosed with "costovertebral dysfunction.” In 2023, Trout broke the hamate in his left hand after he took a swing, which forced him to be out for 89 days. In 2024, Trout missed out 153 days, due to torn meniscus, after his left knee remained sore.
