Send Push
John Cena has made his name in various fields of entertainment. He began with his massive rise to success as the Franchise Player of WWE for more than a decade, and then transitioned to Hollywood. As an actor, he has been a part of top projects like Peacemaker, Fast and Furious, Bumblebee, and more. Now, the Cenation Leader will be behind the scenes for a new venture in the television industry.

John Cena will serve as Executive Producer for a new series
In an announcement by the HGTV network, it was revealed that John Cena will be an Executive Producer on a new series, ' Junk or Jackpot .' It will feature former Queer star Bobby Berk who would follow collectors in their journey to discover the monetary value of their trinkets in an exciting environment.

The announcement stated, “Bobby Berk is coming to HGTV! ‘Junk or Jackpot?’ (wt), a new series executive produced by John Cena (yes, that John Cena), sees the former #QueerEye star following collectors as they discover the true monetary value of their extremely unusual trinkets. From rare puppets to dolls and superhero figurines, surprises await at every turn!”

The 17-time WWE Champion has been heavily pursuing major projects in the acting world. It is possible to set the tone after the end of his in-ring WWE career this year. John Cena began his farewell tour at the start of 2025 and is the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion. Moreover, Cena dropped his good guy persona to become a heel for the first time in the prime of his wrestling career.

This led to him defeating Cody Rhodes for the championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41. However, the feud will be reignited on the road to WWE SummerSlam 2025. The American Nightmare won the King of the Ring tournament to earn an opportunity at the Undisputed WWE title at SummerSlam. A week later, his match with Cena for The Biggest Party of the Summer was confirmed.

While The Franchise Player has a lot on his plate right now, he is known to have a great balance in his work schedule. So it will be interesting to see a new series backed by one of WWE's biggest attractions in the near future.
