Marvel Rivals season 2 Hellfire Gala release date, new features, and more

The official details surrounding Season 2 for Marvel Rivals have been revealed, and it features the Hellfire Gala along with a host of other features for players to enjoy.


The first important piece of information surrounds the release date, as players will be able to explore all the new content on offer. There will be a brand new season pass, with free and paid options available for users. Let’s take a look at all the important details revolving around the second season.



Marvel Rivals Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 will go live on April 11, 2025, and the action begins at 1 AM PST/4 AM EST/9 AM GMT on Tuesday. The date is around the expected lines as the countdown for Season 1 gave players an idea about the release time.

Compared to the first season, Season 2 will be a relatively smaller update, but it should run for three months. NetEase is expected to drop a Season 2.5 update later in May.

Marvel Rivals Season 2 ContentHellfire Gala is the highlight of Season 2, and players will be able to take part in the exclusive event. Based on the trailer, it will feature an epic showdown between Emma Frost and Ultron as it vows to destroy Krakoa.

Marvel Rivals Season 2 New HeroesWhile players may have to wait a few more days to get information about game modes, NetEase has confirmed the upcoming addition of two new Heroes. Ultron will join Emma Frost as new heroes for the second season.

Emma Frost will be a new Vanguard, and her role will be to shield her allies. Being a strong psychic in the comics, Emma should also have a decent damage potential to offer. On the other hand, Ultron will be a strategist, and his kit will revolve around healing allies. Emma is expected to be available from the very start of the season, while Ultron will be part of the mid-season update.
